What is an EDM Anniversary Donation?

It is a donation program that distributes the happiness of all my special anniversaries, including the birthday, debut date, and album release date of artists you support, your birthday, graduation, first salary, marriage, and the birth of children.

STEP 3. Apply for the Donation certificate

The anniversary donation are delivered to the Make-A-Wish Korea through the EDM project under the name of the donor and artists, and are used to fulfill the wishes of Sungwoo WishKid.

A hero lives in Sungwoo's heart.

The characters in hero comics all have something in common. They usually live with a more ordinary appearance than anyone else. Then, when villains appear or a loved one is in danger, they use unbelievable energy to overcome adversity.

People like the nice endings of these hero stories. And another reason for being enthusiastic is that we may imagine, “Wouldn't my friend or I be a hero?"

 

When I first met Sungwoo, the protagonist of the hero comics came to my mind in that there may be a hero like Iron Man living in Sungwoo's heart.

Was his first impression that strong? No. Dimples on his red cheeks seemed to say, "I'm shy." But, after that shyness, bravery spewed out.

Sungwoo was diagnosed with medulloblastoma a year before his graduation from elementary school. He had to fight a major illness at a young age, when it was not at all unusual for him to grumble at food. He underwent six chemo treatments and two transplants in the two years since onset. This wasn't the only thing he had to overcome.

He had to leave school and his friends for treatment and move, and he couldn't eat his favorite food easily because he had a hard time digesting. Sungwoo, who overcame the disease and difficult treatment process that shook his daily life, looked stronger than any other hero to us.

 

*Medulloblastoma: A disease that occurs mostly in the cerebellum and causes symptoms such as elevated intracranial pressure, hydrocephalus, movement disorder, and cranial nerve palsy.

To Sungwoo, who is not allowed to go out for a while due to his exceptionally low immunity level and COVID-19, the world he sees through the square window of the hospital is everything. However, being curious and dexterous, Sungwoo dreams of a bigger world, imagining building robots out of blocks.

The hospital they were confined to after for sudden high fever and pain. There, the children diagnosed with incurable diseases begin their long battles at the hospital without even having time to say hello to their friends. Even after a long tunnel-like treatment, it is impossible to lead a life as before due to weakened immunity.

They can't play as much as they used to, and they can't eat their favorite food, but children with incurable diseases imagine their wishes.
